Swarnim International School was awarded the Best Upcoming School on the 25th August at Vidya Mandir at the Gurukul Awards ceremony organised by the Lions Clubs of Mother Teresa Sarani and Kankurgachi. We are delighted to be Third in the Whole Country for Innovation in Reading and Literacy Practices ! In a room full of 470 educationists from across the country, it was truly a proud moment to be recognised for all the practices that make our students enjoy reading ! And make them confident and happy learners. Thank you Early Childhood Association for recognising our commitment to our students.

Only 11 schools in Kolkata were awarded the ISA this year and we applaud our ISA coordinators, Ms Pammy Paul Bhatti and Ms Arna Dasgupta for their commitment and hard work.
The YUVA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2018 was graced by the Honourable Japan Consulate General, who awarded the students their certificates. We congratulate Aryan Banerjee of Class IV for standing second.
Another proud moment was when our teacher was recognised as a "Thought Provoker", a competition organised by Open Door assessing the question making powers of a teacher - whether they teach a child to think. Ms Anindita Mazumdar is among the top 100 finalists from across India from 5000 teachers who participated.
