Swarnim students proved their mettle by qualifying for the National Level in the International Kenken Championship 2019, which is to be held on the 10th of November, 2019 in the Convocation Hall of the Mumbai University. 19 out of 23 participants from the school (Classes 3 to 6 )qualified for the National level. Kenken is a style of arithmetic and logic puzzle invented in 2004 by Japanese math teacher Tetsuya Miyamoto. The Kenken India Foundation presented each student with a medal and a certificate of merit. The students were applauded for their superb performance in the state level by their peers and the management. Wishing the participants that they come out with flying colours in the National level and bring more laurels to the school.
Swarnim International School was awarded the Best Upcoming School on the 25th August at Vidya Mandir at the Gurukul Awards ceremony organised by the Lions Clubs of Mother Teresa Sarani and Kankurgachi. Congratulations to all our stakeholders-Management, teachers and parents! Recognition inspires us to continue giving our best to our students. We are delighted to be Third in the Whole Country for Innovation in Reading and Literacy Practices ! In a room full of 470 educationists from across the country, it was truly a proud moment to be recognised for all the practices that make our students enjoy reading ! And make them confident and happy learners. Thank you Early Childhood Association for recognising our commitment to our students.

Only 11 schools in Kolkata were awarded the ISA this year and we applaud our ISA coordinators, Ms Pammy Paul Bhatti and Ms Arna Dasgupta for their commitment and hard work.
The YUVA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2018 was graced by the Honourable Japan Consulate General, who awarded the students their certificates. We congratulate Aryan Banerjee of Class IV for standing second.
Another proud moment was when our teacher was recognised as a "Thought Provoker", a competition organised by Open Door assessing the question making powers of a teacher - whether they teach a child to think. Ms Anindita Mazumdar is among the top 100 finalists from across India from 5000 teachers who participated.
